First camping trip since moving back to CA!
Angus loves watching his dad cook. I love this toy hauler! I love when it's super cold outside I can come inside, grab my blanket and binge watch a show. That weekend it was Castle Season 1.
When you can't have a fire outside because it's windy, you improvise and your side kick makes killer s'mores inside.
As you can see 1. Bella and Angus were a bit cold the next morning (Saturday) 2. They didn't want to go outside with dad while he was trying to start the generator so I could make coffee.
The weather warmed up enough to wear a teeshirt and shorts!! YAY!
This was taken as we were sitting on the what I call our "deck" portion of the toy hauler. It's actually the ramp but we had steel ties installed so we could open the back, sit out on a flat surface and enjoy the weather.
As I was spinning in my captain's chair taking this photo I noticed a few people stopping and staring at us. My first thought was they were scoping out our beautiful boxers. Instead, they were intrigued with our "RV" and the flat surface in the back. We had to explain what a toy hauler was and why it was named that...
Saturday night was a few degrees warmer with no wind so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the evening and make s'mores the way God intended. Over an open fire... in the middle of the forest, listening to lots of laughing all around us.
It was a fabulous weekend.
